1982 Civil Engineer degree from the Civil Engineering School of Paris (ESTP), Architecture Option.
1982–1983 Engineer at the CATED Company, in charge of the Acoustics and Building Structures.
1983-1985 Physics teacher at the French High School of New York.
1985–1986 Engineer at ELKEM CHEMICAL, in charge of concrete specificities.
1986–1988 Engineer in charge of the artificial acoustic system for listening tests at SODETEG.
1989 PhD degree of Université du Maine, "Perceptive validation of an objective model for characterization of room acoustic quality" ("Validation perceptive d'un modèle objectif de caractérisation de la qualité acoustique des salles") under the supervision of Professor Michel Bruneau.
1990-1991 Postdoctoral research fellow at IRCAM on Sound quality indicators for room acoustics.
